About Sushi Yorimichi

Sushi Yorimichi is one of the japanese & sushi listed in San Diego, California. The business is registered at 2405 Ulric St, San Diego, CA 92111; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Diego, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–8:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Wednesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (858) 279-6868. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, sushiyorimichi.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 417 reviews, which is a strong result for a japanese in San Diego and suggests consistent service.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food was amazing, this spot is so underrated, oysters was fresh, sushi was also fresh and delicious, everything was amazing and they have so much to offer. From deals to noodles to everything about Japanese cuisine.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This could be our favorite sushi place. After living here for three years and trying different sushi spots around the UTC, La Jolla, Del Mar, and Clairemont areas, this one is definitely a gem. We ordered a variety of dishes: fried baby octopus, agedashi tofu, a spicy scallop hand roll, a spicy salmon hand roll, unagi nigiri, a chashu pork rice bowl, and of course a Sapporo draft. Starting with the Sapporo, it was poured perfectly. It didn’t have an excessive amount of fizz like some places do, which made it smooth and easy to drink. The agedashi tofu was excellent. The broth was mild and balanced, not overly salty, and the coating on the tofu had the perfect chewy texture that held everything together nicely. The fried baby octopus was another standout. It wasn’t heavily salted, and the breading was light so you could actually taste the quality of the octopus. It was tender and almost fell apart, and it came on a bed of salad that paired well with it. Both the spicy scallop and spicy salmon hand rolls were great for the price and the size. Fresh, well-balanced, and very satisfying. The unagi nigiri was also excellent. It had a slight smoky flavor and, thankfully,

Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) Service: β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜† (0/5) Maybe I expected too much based on the strong reviews, but my experience was mixed. The food itself was solid β€” fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The sushi tasted clean and balanced, and the fried rice had good flavor as well. Portion sizes were reasonable, and from a strictly food standpoint, it earns 4 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. The server (a young man in his mid-20s) came across as disengaged and almost bothered to be working in a customer-facing role. He never checked on our table, and I had to flag him down multiple times just to place my order. Basic attentiveness was missing. Also, small detail β€” serving fried rice with only chopsticks isn’t exactly practical. A spoon option would make a lot more sense for customer comfort. Overall, the food would bring me back, but the service experience makes me hesitant to return to this specific location. I’m hopeful that the newer location will deliver a stronger customer service experience to match the quality of the food.

Food: I had the Linda Vista roll. It was big and delicious. Service: great, the moment you walk in. Atmosphere: the perfect little hole in the wall with the best decor. Nothing fancy, but it feels authentic. Update: So I've been here 4 more times since my first review. I like it more every time. Tonight the music included Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone, Deftones - Shove It, and My Chemical Romance - Helena!! If I could rate it higher I would.

Japanese food gatekeeping? Yup, this place is so good, people don't want you to know about it! This restaurant is located next to a liquor store in Linda Vista with only a few parking spots and a handful of tables inside. I feel like I'm in Japan already! The waitress was friendly and seated us right away. We usually come here for lunch on weekdays for happy hour, since the items on the HH menu are great deals. The only problem is that they close between lunch and dinner most of the weekdays (M-Th), so happy hour literally only lasts 1 hour between 2 pm and 3 pm. My wife and I have been here several times, and we have tried most of the items on the HH menu and some from their regular menu. I would NOT recommend the karage or the menchi katsu (worst thing we had). I would recommend the Udon curry, Udon carbonara, hand rolls, regular rolls, and chasu rice bowl. Overall, this place is a great place for the value, and we come here as our go-to Japanese food spot.
